wedding ceremony

Thunder Bay has several wedding venues – many that will showcase our beautiful outdoors and northern scenery, some with great rustic vibes, but there’s only one that brings that Big City feel, and that’s The Chanterelle.
The ballroom can be dressed up in many different ways, so it’s a nice versatile choice for an indoor venue.
Carly and James had their wedding on the Sunday of the Labour Day weekend, which coincidentally ended up being the hottest day of the year. So we were all quite thankful to have a ceremony and reception in a fancy, air conditioned space.

We DID do some photos outside at Seaman’s Park, which I think we are all glad we did for some variety, but also because the bride’s gown and hairpiece truly belonged in a forest scene.

And the best part about a wedding at the Chanterelle is dinner, right? Well, it’s one of my favourite venues for the food — definitely a good ones to really wow any out of town guests.
