Aera Studio Rental Rules
Aera Studio is a professional creative rental space available to approved photographers and creative professionals. By booking, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
Rental Eligibility
Approved photographers/creative professionals only.
An application and approval are required before booking.
Renters are responsible for their own conduct and that of clients, assistants, or guests.
Bookings and Payments
All bookings must be made through the online booking system.
Full payment is required prior to rental.
Add-ons (e.g., seamless paper, props, lighting) may incur additional charges.
All rates are in Canadian dollars and subject to HST.
Access
Approved renters will receive a unique PIN code for entry via a smart lockbox.
Access codes are confidential and must not be shared.
Misuse of access or property may result in revoked privileges.
Studio Use and Clean-Up
The studio must be left in the same condition as found.
Garbage disposal and resetting furniture/props are required.
No smoking or vaping is permitted on the premises.
Food and drink must be kept away from equipment and props.
Certain items are off-limits; an approved prop list will be provided upon booking.
Renters must treat the space and contents with care.
Damage, Liability, and Insurance
Renters are financially responsible for any damage to the studio, equipment, or furnishings.
Aera Studio is operated by Laura Paxton (Flashback Photography). Neither Laura nor her businesses are liable for injuries, damages, theft, or losses during your rental.
By booking, you release and indemnify Laura Paxton, Flashback Photography, and Aera Studio from all liability.
Renters must carry their own liability insurance, especially when working with clients, assistants, or specialized equipment.
Renters are solely responsible for their own safety, the safety of clients, and the security of personal gear.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Rentals may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
No-shows or late cancellations may result in forfeited rental fees.
Weather and emergency exceptions will be reviewed case by case.
Code of Conduct
Renters must act professionally and respectfully at all times.
Illegal or unsafe activity will result in immediate termination and loss of access.
Repeated violations may result in a permanent ban from future rentals.
Agreement
By submitting an application, booking, and using Aera Studio, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply may result in revoked access, denied future bookings, and liability for damages or misconduct.
